Side Channel Analysis: Hardware Hacking from a Distance Virtual Workshop

Side-channel analysis allows attackers to extract secrets from devices they have physical access to. In this hands-on workshop, students will learn about side-channel analysis through attempting a simple power analysis (SPA) attack against a PIN lock on a door. Following the hands-on demo, there will be an opportunity for Q&A about MITRE, cybersecurity, and other STEM topics. This event is created for high-school level students, but also open to middle-school level as well.
