Voting is Hard Virtual Workshop September 19
When ordering pizza with your friends, how do you decide what toppings to get? If coming to a consensus among a small group is so hard, how do we make decisions as a community, society, and species? In this workshop, we will talk about one of the core elements of good citizenship: voting. To discuss what a fair voting system looks like, we’ll need to draw on STEM fields such as Economics and Game Theory, and understand the rich history of the topic from the French Revolution to Nobel Prize-winning research.
